Is meeting new people the best part of growing up?
Having that "social status" amongst others?
Have people influenced you?
If so, were they positive or negative influences?
I believe that the people on socializes with determines their personality. Its quite weird. no sorry, I'm weird. haha,
going into personal stuff, I've moved to 6 different school in my life and meet a alot of people. The outcome? Weirdness. haha.
I must say that "FRIENDS" is the most complex relationship ever. Some would disagree...."nooo its relationships" on the contrary...relationships are easy...its like matching socks together...you either get along or you dont. Its either love or lust. But friendship..oh man, its can get just AS complicated as a relationships...you have "backstabber" kind of friends, you got gossipers, you got "friends with benefits", you got good friends, you got mood friends, you got insecure friends, you got arrogant friends, you got smart friends.... I think you get the point right? So imagine one is dropped in this crowd of friends... how will one become?
I must say, from my experience in being dropped in this mush for crowd you become absolutely ... weird. A good weird. A different weird. A weird that no one within the crowd will understand because you have gotten to know people from all different backgrounds.
Personal story, I've have few friends growing up... some of which were not so nice, new school, new friends.... nicer... new school, new friends, somewhat nice.. *skip to high school* new school for 4 years, new friends... so called "best" friends. This is what I dont understand this till day...is how a friendship that was so strong just fall apart so easily! Imagine drawing a painting on a canvas for hours, days, months, years... and... water gets on it for a second, and its gone. smudged. dripped. blended. Its a complete different art form. Unreconizable...
I dont know about you, I know you've have lots of personal experiences, heck if you have a great friendship cherish it.
(If you think I'm being a tad-smidge dramatique, I pre-warned you...this is the complex- journey ) haha.
But yeah... friendship is quite interesting. I regret not letting the closes people to me not knowing how much I valued their compagnionship. After friendship comes regret. Actually.....after ANYTHING it seems regret is some form of filling that gap of feelings between ... happiness and loneliness. We think so much of the past that we forget the present. We replace the present with regret. That is what regret it.... (that i think..please correct me if I’m wrong.)
Have you ever heard the saying “when one door closes, another one opens”
That right now is reflecting my life. Friendship is hard for me. I’ve lost all the closes people I’ve had, and without them knowing….they thought I was just weird…an outcast of a sudden…we lost communication, we barely speak..its that ackward stage of.. “hi.. so …….whats new? …………………oh nothing really? Aw well I guess I’ll…..talk to you laters?....bye.”
You know…. How do you go from that conversation from talking ALL night to the person. Telling them every detail of your life.
Before I bore you to death, I close with a positive ending…
Today my beginning has begun! [yay….only 10 minutes of boring vending do I come to a start] Yes. No more of me regretting anything. Today I have meet a new friend it’s a new start. Ahaha, my friend is from the States. We spent 2 hours constantly talking about this Italian boy band like we were 10 year old’s obsessed with the Jonas Brothers. Yeah…that bad. But it was good. It was a great beginning to a new friendship, to a new futur.
Sometimes I find that… when Im low on situations that happen now… I think about things that happen out there in the world.
The world is so much bigger than us, there are bigger problems than our own… and just maybe sometimes, meeting someone knew, whether its down the street, at a café, foreign country…a change in person in the crowd will restore a new painting. Maybe adding colour to the canvas, or a new perspective on idea. Regardless, I really hope that for all you out there reading this… find your happiness… if you’re not happy with your “social status” remember…there are 6+ BILLION people in the world, someone is bound to have the same interest as you and who knows…. Possibly give you that beginning in an undiscovered journey.
w/ love

Maybe you should start to choose your friends more carefully. Stick with the ones who bring the best out of you, and get rid of the ones who get in your way. This may not be a positive thing, but some friendships are expendable.
RispondiEliminaUnfortunately, your going to have to go through the transaction of losing old friends and making new ones, as you're going into university next year. But don't worry, as your strongest friendships will show themselves as you and your friends remain so during university.
Good luck with your journey Celina!
